Dr Ding is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She trained at the prestigious Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) in Beijing, China for more than a decade before migrating to Australia in 2006. PUMCH is a tertiary hospital renowned for handling complex medical cases, where Dr Ding developed outstanding clinical and surgical skills.
Since moving to Australia, Dr Ding has worked across multiple major Sydney hospitals, gaining deep familiarity with local clinical cases and further enhancing her expertise. She received her RANZCOG Fellowship in 2018 after completing the overseas-trained specialist assessment.
Passionate about women’s health, Dr Ding supports obstetric and gynaecological patients and their families with high-quality, patient-centred care. She is highly experienced in managing high-risk pregnancies — including pre-eclampsia, placenta accreta, gestational diabetes, twins and VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean) — and is committed to minimising risks associated with childbirth.
In gynaecology, Dr Ding provides comprehensive care across a wide range of conditions and performs advanced surgical procedures including laparoscopy, abdominal and vaginal surgery. She consults in both English and Mandarin (中文).
In addition to clinical work, Dr Ding is appointed by RANZCOG as a supervisor to ITP and DRANZCOG trainees, and is actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors.
