Meet Dr Hatish Jangwal

Dr Hatish Jangwal MBBS, MD, FRACP is an Australian trained experienced and accomplished General and Interventional Cardiologist with a special interest in coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and coronary stenting. His clinical interests span the breadth of cardiovascular diseases but he has special interest in the evaluation of chest pain and management of coronary ischaemia and valvular heart disease.

Dr Hatish obtained his basic medical degree MBBS in India and trained as a specialist Physician in India before moving to Australia. He finished his Basic Physician training from RPA hospital network in Sydney. Advanced training in General Adult Cardiology was achieved via RPA hospital and Box Hill Hospital in Victoria. FRACP in Cardiology was granted in 2014.

Dr Hatish spent two years as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the prestigious RPA Hospital where he attained the skills of coronary angioplasty and structural heart interventions. He has been exposed to acute and complex coronary Interventions including CTO’s, Rotational atherectomy and has had extensive exposure to Coronary physiology and intracoronary imaging. He performs his procedures predominantly via the radial route.

Dr Hatish is also skilled in performing and reporting Trans Thoracic Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiograms and Stress echocardiograms. He also reports on CT coronary angiograms and Holter monitors.

Dr Hatish has admitting rights at Strathfield Private Hospital where he is accredited to perform Interventional Coronary procedures. In addition, he holds honorary Medical Officer position at RPA Hospital. He regularly works as Locum VMO Cardiologist at Bankstown Lidcombe Hospital and is a locum Interventional Cardiologist at Gosford Hospital.

Dr Hatish has additional language skills in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
